Daryl S. Lewis, Sr.: Advancing God's Kingdom Globally

Bishop Daryl S. Lewis Sr. was born on July 26, 1975 at George Washington Hospital NW, Washington, DC. He is the only child of Fred and Helen Lewis. He grew up in MD with a family of devoted Christian believers. During his younger years, he was a member of Holy Temple Church of Christ, S.E. Wash, DC on Capitol Hill. Holy Temple was a strong community of faith with a vibrant music department. He started serving God as a church musician from the very young age of 5. His family moved their membership to the National Church of God in Ft. Washington, MD under the leadership of the Late Dr. T. L. Lowery, one of the General Overseers for the Church of God in Cleveland, TN.

Bishop Lewis has served under great men of God. He began preaching under the tutelage of Dr. T. L. Lowery, National Church of God; Pastor Rod Parsley, World Harvest Ministerial Fellowship, Columbus Ohio. Bishop Lewis is also ordained and accountable to the great leadership of Bishop T. D. Jakes, Potter’s House Dallas, TX Potter’s House International Pastoral Alliance. He continues to minister and work abroad, and work abroad, creating light in darkness all over the world.

Bishop Lewis is the founder of Abundant Life Global Churches, located in Jacksonville, FL. As of 2023, the ministry was renamed Kingdom United Global Churches (KUGC). Bishop Lewis is a community advocate, statesman, and pioneer serving locally and abroad. He spearheads missions all over the world through the Daryl Lewis Foundation. His anointed ministry began in 1994 and has left the hand prints of God throughout the United States, Philippines, Israel, Korea, Dominican Republic, in many of the nations of Africa as well as other countries around the world. Bishop Lewis built his ministry foundation on love, unity, and being deeply compassionate and concerned for all of humanity – desiring that none should perish.

Through KUGC they train and mentor pastors and leaders in church leadership, missional skills, and church planting. Bishop Lewis has also helped to build and refurbish churches schools in third world countries.

A few years after starting his ministry, Bishop Lewis felt compelled to join the Southern Baptist Convention where he was selected to be trained and fully supported as a Church Planter. To date, he is successfully planting churches in USA, Kenya, Uganda, and Sierra Leone, Africa, Pakistan and India. 

Having a knack for business, Bishop Lewis attended the Florida Metropolitan University in Jacksonville, FL where he earned his BS in Business. He also attended the Florida Baptist Theological Seminary in Lakeland, Florida where he earned his BS in Theology. 

In September 2019, he was Legitimately Consecrated to the Sacred Office of

Bishop and appointed Bishop of Evangelism for Alliance Partners Network International.

Bishop Lewis is a part of the Joint College of Bishops Episcopal Academy in Jacksonville Florida. He had the shared responsibility of conducting the examination of candidates who were preparing to serve in the office of Bishop or Overseer.

He is currently partnering with the American Bible Society and the Ugandan Bible Society to provide bibles for the parishioners in over sixty churches within the four Dioceses he covers in Uganda  .

Bishop Lewis is a community advocate and pioneer for justice and equality - fighting against illegal guns, violence, hunger, and poverty.

He has been involved with the Chaplaincy of Ice Cubes Big3 Basketball League.

After many years of urban youth development through the Arise Summer Camp and the Arise after school program, he founded the Daryl Lewis Leadership Academy where at risk youths were mentored in business, citizenship, and social skills. These programs were often sponsored by the Duval County, Department of Children and Families and the former owners of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Weaver’s Foundation.

After much hands-on experience in the building, restoration, & development of other schools in third world countries, Bishop Lewis through the help of God and his faithful faculty; has established the Arise Global Academy in Sierra Leone, Africa. This is one of the fastest growing schools in the 2nd Capitol city of Bo.

He also has lastly established Kingdom United Global Bible College in Western Kenya. Where the Bible College is training the Indigenous village pastors and leaders who would not normally be able to reach the big Cities and Universities for Higher Education, and proper Bible doctrine.

 Bishop Lewis continues to minister and work abroad, creating light in darkness all over the world. Thusly fulfilling the vison and motto of Daryl Lewis Global launching pad for his ministries. Which is Reaching your world with the word and empowering people to win.
